As a ski hotel in the heart of Saalbach Hinterglemm, Seidlalm is right where others still have to make their way to the slopes – directly in the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski area, one of Austria’s largest interconnected ski resorts.

For us, ski-in, ski-out means simply putting on your skis and heading straight out. After your last run, it’s just a few steps back to your warm room with mountain views
– no shuttle bus, no waiting, just easy access and pure skiing.

Ski Passes & Tickets

The Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn Ski Circus uses dynamic pricing, so booking early can save you significantly compared to buying your ticket at the last minute.

If you ski regularly on Saturdays, it’s also worth checking out the Junior XPLORE CARD – with it, day tickets for children and teenagers cost just €15.

Day Pass

For adults, a day ski pass usually costs around €65 to €85, depending on the season and when you book.

Multi-Day

Multi-day passes (2 to 6 days) are almost always better value than buying a new day pass each day.

The Ski Circus at a Glance

The Ski Circus offers 270 km of slopes, with 140 km of easy (blue), 112 km of intermediate (red) and 18 km of challenging (black) runs. There are also around 15 km of marked ski routes for experienced skiers. With so much to explore between Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn, the official piste map is your best guide. It shows all 70 lifts and connections, making it easy to plan your route – especially when crossing from one vall

Skiing Where Your Winter Heart Belongs

The Alps’ Freeride Paradise

With the connection to Fieberbrunn, the Ski Circus has become one of the Alps’ best-known freeride areas – with wide powder slopes, natural gullies and open alpine terrain away from the groomed pistes, plus its own freeride park.

Safety always comes first: The LO.LA snow and avalanche warning system provides up-to-date, region-specific information on the avalanche conditions, available at the Freeride Info Point, on saalbach.com or via the Saalbach app. There are also avalanche transceiver training areas at several locations across the ski area, including Schattberg and Zillstattlift, where you can check while passing by whether your avalanche transceiver is transmitting correctly.

If you’re new to the area or not confident in the conditions, never head into the backcountry alone. Numerous freeride camps in the Ski Circus teach the essential skills, while experienced freeride guides know the safest spots away from the pistes.

Earn Your Way Up

There are no official ski touring routes around Saalbach Hinterglemm, but uphill travel along the pistes is permitted. One option is the easy route from Hinterglemm to Zwölferkogel, or, after the season ends, the tour to the Schattberg Westgipfel.

For a more alpine experience, the gentle Pinzgau Grass Mountains offer classic ski tours such as Spieleckkogel via Walleggalm – ideal for beginners, too. Thanks to the many mountain lifts, you can also enjoy ski-and-tour routes, combining a lift ride with a touring ascent.

Just how seriously ski touring is taken here is clear from the annual Mountain Attack: over 3,000 metres of elevation gain across 40 kilometres through the Glemmtal valley. But for everyday touring, a peaceful early-morning ascent before the lifts start running is more than enough.

Learning to Ski, Together

Not everyone arrives in Saalbach Hinterglemm as an experienced skier – and that’s exactly how it should be. On the gentle nursery slopes around Seidlalm, your little ones can learn their first turns, often with the help of a ski instructor, or simply with you by their side.

140 km of Winter Walking Trails
& 3 Toboggan Runs

Three toboggan runs, one goal: pure winter fun. The Reiterkogelbahn (3.2 km) is lit three evenings a week, making it perfect for a night-time descent with views over Hinterglemm. The 3 km run at Spielberghaus features a cosy mountain hut along the way, where you can stop for a warming mug of mulled wine. And if you’re after even more adventure, the world’s longest illuminated natural toboggan run is just 45 minutes away in Bramberg.

The Ski Area at a Glance

270 km of pistes include 140 km of easy, 112 km of intermediate and 18 km of challenging runs, plus around 15 km of ski routes for experienced skiers. If you’re travelling between the valleys, it’s worth checking the official piste map, as the final lift connections close earlier than the main pistes. 70 lifts and cable cars take you up the mountain, including the 8-seater Limberg chairlift on Schattberg Ost, with a journey time of just 4.5 minutes.
